London's 1st Grade Science Project

London's class was assigned to build a house, no larger than 8x8x8.  In class, the teacher would be putting an ice cube inside the house.  Which ever ice cube lasted the longest (melted the slowest)... won the contest.  So we went to Lowe's, bought 2 inch thick styrofoam and started cutting away.  After the insides were cut out, we placed frozen 'ice plates' in the base (ziplock bags with water/frozen), put in a net on the top so the ice cube would be suspended... and viola!  London ended up winning.... but it was the ugliest house you'll ever see.
